Bloggedy Blog blog

My Name is Matthew King.
I used to be known in some circles as ONE KING or the One Eyed King or just Jackass.
I have recently (a few years) chosen KING357 as my AKA.
Mainly because people have a preconceived notion that it is about a gun. It couldn't be any further from the truth, I actually don't own a gun and am a very non violent sort.
I choose the three fifty seven because they are all odd numbers.
When your number one you just seem to have a target on you, when your 357 it just sort of flips script.
The three is the holy trinity, the five is a nice number and well, you know' Seven is about the best number there is. Seven Dwarfs, Seas, Sins, Virtues, The Seventh game of the World Series... ( in a parallel universe the Giants win.) My favorite number is 43.
Yep, forty three if you are an avid Skateboarder, or have ever lived in San Francisco, you should know what it means, if you don't then I'm sorry.
I live in Oakland.
I own a dog, She owns me. She is pretty much the angel in my life.
My last dog died of cancer and every day I miss her. Rest In Peace Chantilly.
I try not to drive my big Dodge truck it gets about thirteen lucky miles to the gallon and I did not buy a drop of gas this summer, from May till September. I rode my bicycle.
I just bought a Motorcycle, it is a Honda XR600 dirt bike street legal with street tires. it goes really fast.
I have a 1972 Yellow Schwinn that has One Speed cause' that is all you need. I own three Skateboards I seldom ride.
I work out, jump rope, and pump weights, usually listening to TOOL or Jimi Hendrix.
I like tattoos and have several of them, but not as many as I want.
Someone once asked me Why all the tattoos to which I replied Why not?
I like Art. and I make Art. I guess I should post some flicks of some of my art.
This is my first Blog Blog so stick wit' it.
I like Music all kinds of music, I lake Jay-Z, Radiohead, and bluegrass.
I like Punk Rock, but I am not angry anymore, and don't feel the police are bad people. They just have a shitty job.
Welcome to Oakland.
That's a great segue way. I moved to Oakland in 1997 long before the word hipster. ha ha. Oakland IS a great city.
I've seen Oakland SLOWLY change, and it may take another twenty years but Oakland, Ca is the place.
Not for the weak of heart or for strolling around after dark. but it is the city I call home.
